The first MECCHA CHAMELEON × AEON MALL collaboration takes place on October 24–25, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 each day, at the Main Building 1F Central Court of AEON MALL Kochi.
In this official AR hide-and-seek event, paint a white chameleon on your phone and hide it in a large illustrated panel using augmented reality. During the search round, everyone becomes a seeker: point your phone at the panel and tap the chameleons you find.
No reservation or app installation is required. Bring your smartphone.Joining partway through a session is welcome.
How to play
- Paint: Add colors and patterns to your chameleon.
- Hide: Camouflage it in the patterns on the venue panels.
- Seek: Everyone searches. Tap a chameleon when you spot it.
- Awards: Results are announced on the large venue screen.

Admission
- Adults who have finished high school: ¥2,000
- Children and students through high school: ¥1,000
- Family pair: ¥2,000 for one child and up to two accompanying adults
- Each additional child: ¥1,000
- Second-session offer: Morning participants can join the afternoon session for ¥500 per person.
Registration
- Open the link below or scan a poster or panel QR code on your phone.
- Enter your name to register and receive a reception number.
- Show your number at Central Court reception and pay the admission fee.
- Start playing after the staff confirms your entry.
This opens the external event service. No attendance reservation is needed.
Prizes
- All participants: A digital trading card of their painted chameleon, delivered through iFav CLUB in approximately two weeks.
- Top participants: Vouchers for iFav-exclusive merchandise for each session’s top, excellence and special awards, plus the daily overall winner, “AR MECCHA CHAMELEON MVB”.
- Submitted designs: Selected entries will be turned into merchandise.
Free iFav CLUB registration is required to receive prizes.

About the game
MECCHA CHAMELEON is a hide-and-seek game in which players paint their bodies to blend into the scenery. It is available on Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. According to the organizer, it had over 90,000 Steam user reviews with a “Very Positive” rating as of October 23, 2026.
